My partner is out of town this week, to a Star Wars convention in LA, mostly just to see if I'll kill the housemate while we're alone here. Well, it's actually a business trip, my partner working for the company that's putting on the big shindig. I rather question the point of all of this, but in any event I'm staying home with the neurotic cats and the psychotic housemate. To make it up to me, my partner got me this cool new toy. It's a set of three silicon jellyfish in a little display tank that has LED lights that change color and a kriezl tank pump arrangement to move the water around so they don't just sit there. We've ordered from this company before, it's where I got my ultra cool solar powered robotic jellyfish (link to YouTube. I only have the jellyfish.) and the AquaZone Cambria desktop aquarium, which unfortunately only works on the Mac in the other room or I'd be looking at anomalocaris all the time. You can see all the Himeya AZ stuff here, but don't be fooled when it says "hybrid", American PCs just don't seem to like it at all, and even Macs require some toying with to get it to run. If you want any of these in a format that *will* run on your computer, you can look here, where some of them are available for downloadable purchase or they'll send you a CDROM if you prefer. I've got all of those on that page. And, just because it's amazingly beautiful and I love it, I'm gonna give you the Dream Aquarium link again. Twenty bucks for the most realistic virtual fish on the market. How can you beat that?
